It was clear the staff hate their job and don’t want to do it.

Incredibly rude staff and bad haircut! It was clear the staff hate their job and don’t want to do it. No warm hello, no small talk, just wanted to get the cut over in 20 mins or less. At one point I asked the lady if she could make the sides a little shorter and she said that it would be a whole new haircut and I would have to come again another time to do that!! I’ve never seen this level of attitude anywhere before! Left me in a bad mood afterwards!

As the photo shows, the banner hanging outside the store says WALK-INS WELCOME. However, due to COVID-19, they currently only take pre-booked appointments, as gruffly explained by staff member Kat. I understand businesses need to follow COVID-19 rules, but take down the misleading banner, or at least cover up the walk-in part. Kat had to explain to literally every person that came in after me exactly the same thing, and every person had to then stand in the store and use their cellphone to book an appointment before they could get their hair cut. I understand that going through the same performance with every customer makes Kat grumpy, but just go outside and take down the banner! The store opened 5 months ago, so it’s not a grand opening anyway! So, zero stars for Kat’s total lack of customer service skills, but after getting past that hurdle, Gustavo gave a good haircut.
