Walgreen corporate, please evaluate and revamp this store’s Pharmacy staff. They are not friendly, selfish about their time, no customer consideration, overall terrible experience. I came at 5:30-ish on Sunday, 10/6/19, to get my prescription filled. I was told it’ll be 20 minutes, and I was recommended to stay in the store as the pharmacy closes at 6pm. So I’m thinking I would hear an announcement when my prescription is ready. I came to the pharmacy desk at 6pm, and it’s closed. I pleaded if I can please just pick up my prescription. I tried to talk to the manager, Anne Hoffman, and she was too coward to hear my complaint. She had the general manager talk to me. So, moving forward, recommendations to Walgreen corporate: (1) Anne Hoffman to step down from management position if she doesn’t want to do her job of listening to customer complains; (2) please institute the common courtesy practice of using the intercom when prescription is ready (Walgreen at Grant and El Camino do), (3) be more considerate of customers who are sick and would just like to pick up their prescription. I understand that it’s the end of your work shift, and you have to go home, yes, I get that, but please be more compassionate. Anne, your lack of compassion to the customers is damaging the success of your employer’s business. Walgreen corporate, please do something. Thank you.
