Although it was inconvenient, Vallejo Glass was so fantastic on my first visit a few years ago that I returned to them when I needed another window screen replacement.My screen needed a small adjustment after it was made (which happened last time, too, and they were so easy to work with in modifying it). When my husband brought it back this time, though, the women working the customer service counter claimed to know nothing about it, and told him to order a new screen. When he pressed, they said to call Paul.I spoke to Paul, he was friendly & said yes he would adjust it. I dropped it off on Thursday, they said it’d be ready Monday. I called on Tuesday, it wasn’t ready but would be in a few hours. I called later that morning and they said it was ready for pickup. I picked it up, quite happy in my ignorance.As it turns out, NOTHING was done to adjust the screen. It was the exact same size as before.Hubby looked up a youtube video on window screen replacements and fixed it (shortened the height by a 1/8 and width by 1/4, worked fine).Thanks to Vallejo Glass, we learned it’s easier (AND cheaper) to do a window screen replacement yourself and won’t buy one again from them.

Expensive, incorrect information, false expectations. Placed order last Friday, the gal said it would be ready by Tuesday, is now Thursday morning of the following week, called before arriving to their shop about my order, they take their sweet time and tell me it’s ready, I arrive to pick the two pieces and only one is ready, the other was suppose to just be cut there locally at the shop and for a week it was not! Bad service!
