Okay store. Okay experience. The owner has impressive selection of military/world war books. Most of the books are however overpriced for used books. Asked if they have any section for a dollar or something, the person working there said: No we are not 99 cents store.Quite unnecessary really. You sell used books. This is not exactly Harrod’s.

Nice specialized bookstore in North OC focused on military history, scifi, and fantasy. Owner has encyclopedic knowledge of genre writers and screenwriters, having met a lot of them. Right next to Anne’s Book Carnival, visit both!

Amazing selection, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, hairless cat, a comfy couch, and tons of events. The only way this place could be better is if they give me the books for free, but I wouldn’t take them because I prefer to help pay their rent so they can stick around. I wrote the first draft of my first fiction novel on the couch in the back and the staff members would bring me coffee, tea, grapes and the cat.
