FoodMaxx has a great selection of fresh produce. They also have a nice bakery with a variety of options. They have no fruit based syrup, only maple flavors, which made the selection limited. There was only one cashier open and the self service registers were closed, which made the line longer than it needed to be. My biggest complaint about this store is that there are no safety dividers in the bagging area at the end of the split conveyor belts at the registers to protect customers from Covid-19. When bagging your groceries, and there was another customer just before you, or a customer is right after you, you are literally face to face with another customer while removing your items.

I went today to pick up a few items. They had no carts! I was looking for an item ( as I hardly shop here) and NOBODY TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE FOR ASSISTANCE!!! 2 registers open with at least 5 people deep! A man walking around the store talking to himself. Touching items. Looked kinda scary! NEVER AGAIN WILL I RETURN!

I’m torn with this place. Good selection of produce and meat, fair prices. But… Store always seems understaffed. Unless you get there before 6pm the self checkout is closed. I’ve waited well over a half hour in a line while one person checked a dozen full carts. My biggest issue is this big store is down to one motorized shopping. One of the two was stolen a few months ago. They only had two. Their other stores have 8-10. The 3 other large stores in area have 8+. I have waited over an hour with several other people ahead of me to just give up and leave. A knee with no cartilage just can’t walk a big store
