In town for medical needs and needed some beads to work on my fundraising efforts. Found this gem of a local shop. She is so nice! I’ll be down here a lot so sad to learn she will be closing her doors end of Nov. I wish her well on her new journey!

Beautiful beads that I couldn’t buy. I was having issues with my bank and they for some reason marked my card as lost or stolen. She said she couldn’t give the card back to me under any circumstances. I was so upset my husband had to call our bank, and by the time he spoke with someone who said that is absolutely not true, and that if I show proof of my ID I can get the card back. Well I did, and it was already in pieces. Just 1 day before we left for a trip across the country. This women basically stole and destroyed my card due to her misinformation. She’s lucky I didn’t call the police. She could have talked with someone from her bank, she could have tried anything to help, but instead she was condescending to me when I started to get upset and acted like there was nothing she could do, and she ordered me to call my bank to ask for a new card, trying to not get me to ask questions about this circumstance to my bank. Not saying this will happen to you if you go there, but this is the kind of person who runs this shop. The shop dog there had FAR better customer service than this woman.

I love this store and have since I was a child. Beautiful beads, antiques, kitchen items, and art from all over the world. The kind of store I go to just to enjoy being there, but never end up leaving with nothing. Some of what they have is very pricey, but some of it is surprisingly affordable. Take your time looking around! Fun store, and they’re incredibly nice to children, particularly given how many breakable things they carry!
