I went into the store to return some shoes purchased online. The shoes had never been worn and were in the original box. I waited in line for quite awhile due to an upset customer in front of me. As soon as I got up the the checkout- I explained that I had an online order that needed to be returned. The clerk was adamant that there should have been a receipt in the same box that arrived with the shoes. I explained to her that there was no receipt and that I had all the information on my phone for the return. She refused to listen to me or look at my phone and argued on and on. Her exact words were: there is no way for me to add this back into my inventory without the receipt. I told her there was an email that said I could return in store with a barcode. Finally she was willing to look at my phone. She typed in the order number and just like that- I got my funds back. All that arguing for nothing. Poor customer service. Not to mention embarrassing when there are 4 people in line behind me and she is the only customer service associate. Took me 15 minutes to do a simple 3 minute transaction.
