Patience and timing are well rewarded. This is not an in and out experience. You have to sort through tons and try on everything. Inspect carefully. But there are hidden treasures and the fun is in the discovery. Bring your imagination and anything except AMEX.

There is an expression no good deed goes unpunished. Well today I tried to donate my old dining room set to the Salvation Army. I have been waiting for over a month for them to pick it up. Upon their arrival the driver informs me that one of the 25 year old chairs has a stain on it, and they can’t take the set. Really, its 25 years old and now going to the curb. My last hope in charities, Salvation Army, is gone !

The pricing has gone up a lot. This new Management is not willing to work with you. Not even on items that are damaged and require some fixing up. Left and item of ours in the store and called to see if someone could check for it. The person who answered the phone stated they don’t have time for this. I was told to come and check myself. So I left and went to UNIQUE in Levittown. Very happy with pricing on all 14 of my items. With 25% off everything on MONDAY!
