Per website instructions, I sent an email describing what I would be browsing for, stopped by 30 minutes later and there was a delightful selection of books waiting for me to look through. The people here are great! The store is very COVID safe (service at the door, no entry) and has a wonderful selection of locally-focused books. I asked for plant identification books and looked through books on Bay Area plants, garden mixology, Native American traditions, and they offered to email me when more books on the topic came in.

Everything about this store is perfect. Renee has a fantastic selection of books and will happily order something for you if she doesn’t have it. It’s definitely a community place, with Saturday morning children’s reading corners and special events. Don’t shop at the Rainforest Company online; buy local and support bookstores.
