Thank goodness I have been to this store only a few times.I do not plan to go back. The manager is extremely disrespectful, dishonest and rude towards customers and volunteers. Yesterday, I stopped by to find a chess set as a xmas gift and noticed a rack of priced clothing they had just brought out to the sales floor . As soon as I touched the items, the manager rudely yelled at me, Those clothes are not priced and not for sale! Well that was a blatant lie, as every item had a tag and a price. The manager came over with a dirty look for me and pushed the rack back into the back room! All of this in front of staff and other customers. I have personally witnessed her nepotism or prejudice towards people she likes and her blatant discrimination towards customers she dislikes.Question for ACS: Why is an unethical, discriminatory, emotionally unstable and dishonest person managing this discovery store?

I drove to this Discovery shop today from Pacific Grove California it took me 1hr 30min. It was such a wonderful experience John the cashier and his Mom are kind and lovely all the other volunteer are also. I give them all A+ costumer service. I spent $45.00 on some Amazing items. I mention to him what a horrible experience I had in the Discovery Shop in LOS GATOS. Another costomer spoke up and said the same thing happened to her. Discovery shop San Jose, Salinas and Pacific Grove are awesome! Prices are awesome. Please visit if your in those areas. Its for CANCER SOCIETY. I will still visit Los Gato the Town. NOT THE SHOP. All my love to Cancer society. Thank you.

This store is the best. Great assortment and great prices! The staff is totally helpful and kind. I want to especially mention Wendy, who went out of her way to find addition things I would be interested in. You don’t get that kind of friendliness and interest at most stores. It’s also awesome to know that you are supporting a great cause. I’m definitely going to stop by there more often.
