Staff had the front door blocked off with a table, told us due to Covid they couldn’t let anyone into the store to look around. They offered to let us point out things in the store, and they would bring them out.We declined; as we were leaving, a staff member inside the store told the woman running the table to let a guy waiting behind us in, he’s a friend, let him in to come see the boards.Apparently, covid only affects strangers’ money. We took our business down the road to another surf shop that was glad to have us, and we filled several bags. We won’t be returning to Drill, there are plenty of surf shops in Malibu.
