Was so happy here that, unlike other Starbucks :(, they served brewed dark roast, and not just the default Pikes Peak. Sumatra was on hand, and they said they serve it until noon.As to criticism of being slow, I could not disagree more. Certainly there was a line of cars on Sunday at 8:30 am, but since I ordered inside, I observed every single employee literally dashing about preparing all the weird concoctions customers desired.I ordered coffee and food for two, was acknowledged when I came in, and served efficiently and attentively, with friendly responses to a couple questions I had.

I frequent Starbucks all the time so when I go to one that is not up to the Starbucks standards I get perturbed. This one in Lompoc had literally 6 people behind the counter, all serving a slow drive though and two people in line. I ordered one cappuccino only. It took them 15 minutes to get my drink out. I stood waiting next to the pickup line all by myself. While there, 5 drive throughs orders and 3 on line orders were processed. When I reminded them about my order, I was told I was still behind another order. I was the only person standing there for a good 5 minutes. There was more people behind the counter than costumers inside.

Great drinks, especially the dark roast coffee. The baristas work very hard and do their best, especially considering how busy this location is.Ignore the below review from Brett and Brianna. Look at their history of reviews. They consistently leave 1-star reviews which are negative and full of complaints. They threaten businesses that they will leave a bad review, in order to get their way. The truth is that they are short-tempered, have an attitude, and feel a sense of entitlement.The below user threw (slide) her drink across the counter towards the barista. This customer was quick to get angry and was not willing to give Starbucks a chance to correct the misunderstanding.
