From the quick, personal online response to the inspired, creative design process to the organized, well-managed installation to the thoughtful follow ups months after completion ensuring every expectation was exceeded, their professionalism, acute customer focus, and high quality standards are impeccable. Their work is not just aesthetically pleasing, it’s superbly functional. Our requests were seamlessly woven into the final design. Everything is right where it needs to be to enable the most complicated multi-course food prep or just a cozy chat over a bottle of wine. When we moved into our new home, the one room we wanted to make over was the kitchen we thought if we just change a few things like the cabinets and update the appliances that would be easy enough. After weeks of frustration and trying to do this ourselves we called Mr. Bakes of Bakes & Kropp. This company has designed some of the best kitchens in the area they are well known for their custom work. Mr. Bakes designed us the perfect kitchen and it’s my favorite place in our home.

While my partner and I didn’t end up getting our kitchen from Bakes & Kropp, we appreciated meeting with Guillaume at their lovely Sag Harbor location so much we wanted to sing his praises! Being first time homeowners tackling a renovation on our own, we’ve found every step of the process to be unfamiliar and intimidating, especially the part where we sit down to chat with an expert about our ideas. From the moment we arrived at our appointment, Guillaume treated us warmly and made us feel comfortable instantly; it was just like chatting with a (highly talented and experienced) old friend! Ultimately, we didn’t have enough room in our budget for their exemplary product (gorgeous as it all was!), but we are still so glad to have met Guillaume on our renovation journey.
