Carla expertly sculpted my challenging hair and the result was–truly–THE BEST HAIRCUT I’VE EVER HAD. I have extremely straight, fine, and thick hair–very hard to layer into the bowl cuts and pixies that I love. Without the money to spend at a high end salon, I’ve just come to accept a level of choppiness. Well no more! I thought the haircut was great halfway through, but she made it perfect–even staying at it past closing. I also appreciated that she explained to me why she was using certain techniques based on my hair type and desired style. She is an artist that takes pride in her craft. She is a warm, funny, and multifaceted person and I had a lot of fun talking to her, too. I love that she promotes her fine art and hair styling together. She even sent me home with some complimentary bulbs from her other business–a plant nursery. She’s amazing! Can’t recommend stopping by Cali Barber enough.
