They have cooler stuff here than other metaphysical shops I’ve visited in LA. Very good selection of mostly everything (candles, incense, cards, crystals, etc.) Personally, I see myself returning mostly because they carry stuff I don’t see in other shops, but not so much because of the ambiance or the service. Service wasn’t bad or anything just felt dry. The person who greeted us did offer to help in a very straightforward way, but I just prefer to be left alone when I shop – especially for ritual supplies. Since the shop is quite small and the greeter just kept floating around, I just felt pressured/rushed and a weird vibe overall. Hopefully it was just me…The cashier was nice though, so I think I’m gonna give this place another shot on a different day. Also, again it comes down to personal preference, but the music was distracting…electro/house vibes and not really in line with the ambiance I expected based on how this place looks. Anyway cool place, just don’t think it will become my #1 location for crafting supplies.

Beautiful, intimate, serendipitous. Everything in there is magic. If they don’t have what you’re looking for, you probably didn’t really need it. This charming place is a unique treasure of the neighborhood.

I have been receiving phone readings at The Green Man Store the last 5-6months, due to living in Indiana. I have read with Hovic, Tommy, Gretchen, Ashley, Brandon and Jason.. they are all very, very talented with different styles and personalities in the reading. I haven’t felt alive been judged by any readers, they’ve all been consistent and accurate accordingly based on the notion of free will-of course. You just got to find the style that best suits you. Hovic and Tommy are super direct and to the point no sugar coating no beating around the bush. Jason, Gretchen and Ashley explain a bit more, but Jason takes it to a whole other level of consciousness it seems.. I really enjoy the insane accuracy in their own way, timing is fluid so I prefer not to judge a rating based on that particular area- again, due to our freewill. I will continue to be a customer here.
