Been coming here for over 28 years. And yes we have seen changes over that time, but have always had a good meal and service.This trip with Covid around, we got the Familia Feast for 2 to-go, as we had a great balcony to enjoy the meal at the place we were staying. Great value for the two of us as a to-go. Excellent salad, pasta, main and tiramisu for dessert including bread.

Great place to have dinner but last my girlfriend and I had a strange encounter happen to us. About 5:00 or so we entered the bar area, I asked my girlfriend if she rather sit at the bar and she said yes. We sat at the very end where the waiters pick up there drinks. We sat and had a glass of wine when I noticed this guy drinking a glass of wine walked up to the bar at stood there and was glancing at us. Then our food came so we started to eat of course …. The man said to my girlfriend “Hey Senorita you speaking Spanish” I told him to take a hike and not to bother us.. Then he said can I get your number I thought to my self really so I asked the bartender to remove him before I took matters on my own. With the tensions between the media with officers was the last thing I needed. I asked the bartender who the guy at the end he said “ he plays in a band right around the corner” I told him to move him or get rid of him. The bartender told him to move. This guy who ever he is SHOULD NOT BE IN A CLASSY RESTAURANT HITTING UP ON WOMAN. Period especially a family restaurant. For a moment I thought I’ve given a the guy a ticket in the past.

Nice location and great place to eat in downtown Carmel. Has rooftop dining experience. Great margarita pizza! Courteous and caring masked staff.
