Our Story Since 1946 The Dolphin Bookshop has separated itself as an independent bookshop for Port Washington, New York, a waterfront network on the North Shore of Long Island. This one of a kind shop is an area pearl which attracts individuals from Manhattan toward the east end of Long Island. The ideal social occasion put, The Dolphin has facilitated book readings and signings by numerous recognized writers and famous people including J.K. Rowling. Our spacious area considers considerably more events, for example, children’s projects, book club gatherings, pledge drives, verse readings and shows.
