Scarsdale Hardware is my favorite place to buy everything from gas grills, to light bulbs and every imaginable household item you might need. The hardware store is ESSENTIAL and Glenn, the owner is selling high quality masks as well as all kinds of items that can help you feel more secure during our “ lockdown “. He keeps his store open seven days a week and is a wonderful source for information if you are looking for a window washer or chimney sweeper. To my amazement, his prices are comparable to the Home Depot but he’ll deliver and assemble and do it with a smile. A few years ago when we were having a brutal winter, he called to tell me he had received a new shipment of salt and asked if I wanted him to drop some bags off at my home. No big box store offers that kind of incredible service! And yes, maybe you can buy certain items for less on Amazon but it’s wonderful to have such a dedicated business owner who actually cares about his customers!
