Large, well stocked clean, what’s not to love. The line to check out was short and quick.While still a good value, the 99 Cent store is not what it used to be in pricing. They took the opportunity that the pandemic presented and raised many of their prices. I understand it was never in the business plan to keep the prices at 99 Cents for as long as they did and it was nice while it lasted.

There’s just something about 99 Cents Only stores. Something about knowing I can get Strawberry Sour Punch Straws there for 99¢ (full size package!) and have my sugar fix for days. I love wandering the aisles and perusing all the cheap treasures. Makes me happy. And my checkout person this evening was super sweet. Just go without being in a hurry and you’ll have a much more pleasant experience, because the lines can get long.
