this was a local 99c store i hadn’t visited yet but i stopped by earlier and didn’t know where a couple items were located. i asked two different team members and they both helped me out although they were missing some of the items i normally buy i went with some alternative brands which should be alright. i’d return if i’m in the area as the customer service was pretty good.

I didn’t have the best experience at checkout. When I was placing items on the register when I noticed that a floor cleaner had spilled a little bit, thankfully it spilled inside of my reusable bag and not somewhere else. My mom, who was with me asked the cashier (Maria) if she could trade it for another bottle. The cashier sighed at us and after a pause she told us that if we did, another person would have to pay for the item that spilled. I didn’t think it was fair for someone else to pay for that, so in the end I decided to just take it with me. When I got home I read the return policy and it said that I have 9 days to do an exchange or receive store credit. (This happened on 03/31/2021 at 7:17pm)
