I like the cheap decorations for seasons & holidays. They sometimes have the freeze dried peaches that I crave but buy those when they have them bc they don’t always have them. They also often have cool gadgets or decorations I forgot I needed or wanted. Great prices on the produce & basic groceries as well. I like buying my raspberries & portobello mushrooms fresh here! Staff is always helpful & friendly!

LOVE THIS STORE!!! People hear about and read about scary stories of the dollar store…where there is lead in products and such…:-( 🙁 🙁 WELL….I go to the 99 cent store frequently and let me tell you about what I find when shopping there….Dove chocolate candies, Glade air fresheners, Suave deodarant, Garneir Shampoo, Pure Silk shaving cream, Advil, Wish Bone salad dressing and so on and so forth. I have also bought very nice throw blankets there for my dogs for 1.99…they were so nice that my neighbor wanted one and I wish that I would have kept one for myself. Some items are a little more than 99 cents but STILL…WAY cheaper than major department stores…I think that corporate giants try to scare consumers about the items that the dollar stores have to offer just so you can buy the same exact thing at their higher prices. I recently bought a collapseable LED…battery operated latern for emergency power outages and just for regular use when I need a little extra light in an area..I paid 99 cents for it and it works GREAT!! Today I was leafing through a sales catalogue that came in the mail…they listed the same EXACT lantern for $14.99… We, as consumers need to shop smarter…of course ANY plastic item or toy contains materials that are harmful to us…we can also find plastic, harmful items in larger box retail stores…they are just more expensive!! I opt for items in glass no matter where I shop. And as for children’s toys…books, markers, stickers are a good option
