A truly phenomenal book store AND community space. The second you walk in, you feel at home: warm smiles welcome you and a cozy corner invites you to sit down, relax, and look through some books. If you’re interested in any type of advocacy or activism, this is the space for you. It not only has the most essential reads dating back decades, but new reads by budding activists that will transform your perspective on the world. Brace yourself, as you’ll want to buy the entire bookstore once you’re done browsing.

1977 Books is ran by some of the best community oriented humans who care about other humans needs and well being. I adore the stationary, totes and graphic tees. It’s a safe space to read a book to enhance your knowledge on social conscious matters or just meet a new friend.
